How to properly apply semi-permanent varnish?

Semi-permanent varnish can keep your manicure lasting up to two weeks, an advantage over regular varnish. However, if you don’t use the correct application technique, you run the risk of your manicure peeling off. Today, the nail supply expert Maryton will tell you how to properly apply semi-permanent varnish.

  • Apply the nail polish remover using cotton to the nails to clean them and prepare them for applying the varnish.
  • Apply the Base Coat to the nail using very thin layers so that the UV lamp can harden each layer.
  • Leave to dry for 2 minutes under the UV lamp/30 seconds under an LED lamp.
  • Then apply the color varnish in the same way as the base coat.
  • Leave to dry for 2 minutes under the UV lamp/30 seconds under an LED lamp.
  • Then apply the Top Coat in the same way as the previous layers.
  • Leave to dry for 2 minutes under the UV lamp/30 seconds under an LED lamp.
  • Finally apply the cleaner using cotton. This will help your manicure last over time, but will also remove oil residue left on the nails.
