How to remove gel and resin false nails?
Removing a gel or resin nail requires several steps and is not trivial! Removing false nails must be done by a nail professional. If you are not a professional, contact the nail technician who applied your nails. Do not under any circumstances try to remove your false nails yourself!
Protocol for removing false gel nails

Just like removing UV gel, resin removal must be done by a professional and follow certain steps. Here is a method for removing resin nails. You should always pay attention to the natural nail that is just underneath.
Melting the resin
A technique that consists of melting the resin. To do this, you must use “Cosmetic acetone” and a manicure bowl designed for this purpose.
- Lightly file the top of the nail with a coarse-grained file.
- Soak in cosmetic acetone for several minutes then remove the melted resin by scraping it lightly with a cuticle pusher. Repeat this operation several times if necessary. The melted resin is very easy to remove, no need to force it.
- File very lightly.
- Finish by applying a complete nail and cuticle care.
