What to replace the nail primer with?

If you don’t have a nail primer or if you prefer to avoid its use, here are some possible alternatives:
- Use a nail file to create a rougher surface and help nail polish, gel or acrylic stick.
- Thoroughly clean and degrease the nail before applying the base coat. This way you improve the adhesion and prolong the life of your nail polish, gel or acrylic.
- Apply a coat of light colored nail polish before applying the main color. To help prevent stains on the natural nail.
