To remove gel, acrylic gel or acrylic nails, it is recommended to choose a file with a grain between 80 and 180. A 100/180 or 80/100 file is often used.

80 grit is used to reduce the thickness of nail product and 100 grit is used to shorten artificial nails. Please note that you should never use 80 and 100 grit on your natural nails, as they can damage the natural nail plate.
